NAATEN stakeholders are national African American organizations that have a commitment to reducing tobacco's negative impact in the African American community. Rev. James C. Wade The AME Church consists of 13 districts in the U.S. and 7 abroad. The goal of this department is for the AME Church to become leaders in tobacco prevention by helping African Americans “Live Well” without the use of tobacco. Dr. Shaffdeen Amuwo Bishop S.C. Carthen The Black Clergy for Substance Abuse Prevention represents a national collaborative of pastors committed to implementing strategies to eliminate the misuse of harmful substance in the African American community while utilizing the Black Church as the catalyst. Min. Jeffrey Campbell The Fellowship is a multi-denominational conglomeration of over 50 primarily African American Christian leaders, churches, laity and faith-based organizations in the United States and Africa providing ministry to marginalized communities. Earl Fowlkes, Jr. The International Federation of Black Prides is a coalition of Black Pride organizers formed to promote a multinational network of LGBT/SGL (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender/Same Gender Loving) Prides and community-based organizations. Joan Bundley The Black Nurses Association provides a forum for collective action by African American nurses to implement change to make available to African Americans and other minorities health care commensurate with that of the larger society." Eldridge Dorsey, DDS The National Dental Association represents the concerns of ethnic minorities in dentistry and is dedicated to elevating the global oral health concerns of underserved communities and recruiting underrepresented minorities into the profession through advocacy and mentorship. Cassandra Black The National Pan-Hellenic Council, composed of nine International Greek letter Sororities and Fraternities, engages in cooperative programming and initiatives through various activities and functions of mutual interest to its member organizations. Rev. James L. Patterson PAAC is a specific initiative driven organization focusing on holistic health encompassing education, physical health-absence from disease, economic, and crime prevention integrating comprehensive youth development intrinsic to its core programmatic solutions. Hilda R. Davis-Carroll, PhD.
