Roseville and Placer County leaders, businesses and residents will gather to celebrate the achievements of Invest Health Roseville and explore future strategies to transform neighborhoods and improve community health.
Keynote Speaker
Brian M. Rahmer, Ph.D., M.S. is vice president of Health and Housing at Enterprise Community Partners, Inc. Since 1982, Enterprise has worked with partners in communities nationwide. As one of America’s original social enterprises, Enterprise brings together the people and resources to create affordable housing in strong neighborhoods. Enterprise works with entities that lend funds, finance development and manage and build affordable housing.
Dr. Rahmer leads Enterprise’s health and housing initiatives, bringing together the fields of public health, health care, and affordable housing for the creation and promotion of healthy communities nationwide. Dr. Rahmer oversees investments nationally in over 12 major markets.
Dr. Rahmer will speak on strategies that impact the social determinants of health and the socio-political forces that shape health outcomes. He will address the continuum of housing and health initiatives covering primary, secondary and tertiary systems approaches.
