Our goal is simple: connect people to opportunity, strengthen the workforce and help build the economic foundation communities need to thrive.
At the Health Education Council (HEC), we believe economic well-being is essential to building healthier people, families and communities.
Our Workforce Development programs help youth and adults move beyond simply finding a job to building sustainable careers, greater financial stability and a future they can see for themselves.
We connect community members with job training, workplace readiness and leadership development; provide financial literacy education; create exposure to industries, employers and career opportunities; and connect individuals with college enrollment, scholarships and other resources that can help open doors.
