Open House: A Season of Impact Celebration
The Health Education Council (HEC) invites you to Season of Impact, an Open House on Thursday, December 7th from 11am-1pm. We welcome our community of partners, supporters, and residents to our South Sacramento office to celebrate the impact that we collaboratively made in 2023 and learn more about our shared vision and collective priorities for 2024.
The event will feature the public release of HEC’s new children’s book - “Finding Your Connecting Place”, the newly released book written by Executive Director Debra Oto-Kent detailing one family's story of working with HEC to create social connections to reduce loneliness and improve mental health. We will preview the book and have copies for sale to help kick-off the giving season.
Special guest Assemblymember Stephanie Nguyen secured $300,000 in funding from the State of California for accessibility improvements to the HEC building. She will be presenting the organization with the check during the Open House.
Appetizers and beverages will be provided.
