HEC supports programs that build sustainable economic foundations for individuals, families, and small businesses as a foundation of community health.
The programs currently administered by the Economic Well-Being team are focused on financial coaching and planning and workforce development and preparation.
Ventanilla de Asesoria Financiera Y Proteccion al Patrimono (VAF) provides free, culturally and linguistically appropriate financial assistance and financial education for the Mexican and Hispanic community living in the 24 county jurisdiction of the Mexican Consulate of Sacramento.
Financial Coaching funded by Kaiser Permanente, offers community members free one-to-one financial coaching in person or virtually in English, Spanish, or Farsi.
